Nekkid Ambition Kennels recommends the following health testing when breeding AHTs. Proof of Canine Health Information Center (CHIC) number issued by OFA or the following OFA Required testing:
*** Please Note: Nekkid Ambition Kennels will require proof of all OFA required testing (Tests 1-8) for breeding to a Nekkid Ambition stud dog. For any breeding that will result in a litter registered to Nekkid Ambition Kennels, all OFA health tests will be required.
- Cardiac Evaluation Congenital Cardiac Exam, or Advanced Cardiac Exam or Basic Cardiac Exam
- Hip Dysplasia (One of the following) OFA Evaluation or PennHIP Evaluation
- Patellar Luxation
- Legg-Calve-Perthes
- Congenital Deafness (BAER test)
- Primary Lens Luxation DNA based PLL test from an approved lab
- Elbow Dysplasia
- Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA)/ Progressive Rod-cone degeneration (PRCD) DNA based prcd-PRA test from an approved lab
- Serum Bile Acid (SBA)
- Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) DNA based test from an approved lab of the SOD1 gene in AHTs will reliably determine whether a dog is a genetic Carrier of DM
- Eye Examination (A/K/A CERF) Eye Examination by a boarded ACVO Ophthalmologist
